<p>Provided is a telephone device capable of performing, when it fails in the expansion of a slave telephone set, the retrial of the expansion immediately by proper procedures and operations. A master telephone set (10) sends, at a slave telephone set expansion, the ID of the master telephone set (10) stored in a master ID storage unit (24a), a slave telephone number inputted from a master key matrix (23), and an expansion command to instruct the expansion, wirelessly to a slave telephone set (30) by using a setting channel. When the slave telephone number received fails to coincide with one inputted from a slave key matrix (36), the slave telephone set (30) ends its operation by sending an expansion completion indicating that failure, to the master telephone set (10). The master telephone set (10) displays, when it receives the expansion completion indicating the failure, an operation guide in a master display device (15).</p> |
