<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for mailing capable of making a preferable color as a blue stamp, visibility and a readability by 2D bar code reader, an ink tank for mailing, an inkjet recording method for mailing and a inkjet recording apparatus for mailing. <P>SOLUTION: The ink for mailing is the ink for mailing used in inkjet recording in which a<SP>*</SP>in CIE L<SP>*</SP>a<SP>*</SP>b<SP>*</SP>color system of a printed part obtained by giving the ink onto a recording medium such that an ink giving amount becomes 4.5 mg per 1 inch square is -10 to 15, b<SP>*</SP>is -50 to -15 and an integration value of reflection spectrum at a wavelength area of 380 nm to 730 nm of the printing part is 90 or less.
