PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus that determines the distribution destination of print data with a simple operation and executes confidential printing and furthermore to provide a technology of preventing unlimited printing to ensure the security.

SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes: an electronic file storage means with one or more folders for storing electronic files; a print data generating means for generating print data from a prescribed electronic file stored in the electronic file storage means; an attribute information acquisition means for acquiring attribute information associated with the folder storing the prescribed electronic file to determine the recipient of the print data; and a print job creating means for creating a print job including the print data generated by the print data generating means and the information associated with the recipient determined by the attribute information acquisition means.
