IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE AND ITS DRIVE CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveform generating circuit which can be constituted to a small area by using thin-film transistors and generates a plurality of triangular wave voltage waveforms varying in phases from each other and an image forming apparatus applying the same.

SOLUTION: The waveform generating circuit using looped resistance wiring is provided on a substrate. The waveform generating circuit supplies the triangular wave voltage waveforms or staircase voltage waveforms generated on the looped resistance wiring to a pixel circuit. The looped resistance wiring is provided with a plurality of voltage supply switches for supplying at least two kinds of the voltages.
