摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a belt type continuously variable transmission, which prevents a slip of a belt nearly without a delay in response to deceleration operation by a driver and without complicating an internal structure and control method, and provides comfortability in driving wherein decelerating feeling the driver does not expect is not generated. SOLUTION: The belt type continuously variable transmission increases or corrects an allowance SECD pressureΔP, which does not generate the slip of the belt even when rapid deceleration occurs, with respect to an SECD reference pressure A, to an SECD control pressure B (=A+ΔP) at the same time when detecting that a brake turns on at a time t1, and supplies the SECD control pressure B. When it is determined that deceleration is slow deceleration less than a slow deceleration determination value at a time t2, the SECD control pressure B is maintained at a constant pressure of an upper limit SECD pressure C. Furthermore, when a vehicle starts travelling in a lockup release region by deceleration at a time t3, the SECD control pressure B calculated on the basis of a transmission input torque and pulley ratio is recovered without maintaining the SECD control pressure B in the constant pressure of the upper limit SECD pressure C.
