<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet exhaust gas desulfurization apparatus which prevents fine foams from being filled in an absorption tower with a simple method and maintains the liquid level stably. <P>SOLUTION: In the wet exhaust gas desulfurization apparatus which is provided with the absorption tower 7 to absorb a sulfur oxide included in the exhaust gas 1 in the absorption liquid 5 containing limestone 3, a plurality of spray nozzles 9 to spray the absorption liquid 5, which is installed in the upper space of the absorption tower 7, a circulation pump 15 to supply the absorption liquid 5 retained in the bottom of the absorption tower 7 into the spray nozzles 9, an air supply means 17 to supply air to the absorption liquid 5 retained in the bottom of the absorption tower 7, a separation means 21 to separate plaster 19 from the absorption liquid 5 withdrawn from the bottom of the absorption tower 7 and an absorption liquid replenishment means 26 to replenish the limestone into the absorption tower 7 by adding the limestone to the absorption liquid 5 discharged from the separation means 21 if needed, it is characterized by installing a coal ash supply means 35 to add the coal ash to the absorption liquid 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
