PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire connection connector with an insulation cover convenient for use in an environment not essentially requiring waterproofing, simply attachable and detachable by one fastening part, and obviating the need of caulking processing of a connection part. SOLUTION: This wire connector includes: a flexible and conductive connection assistant arranged by straddling along wires to be connected and tightly contacting the wires by flexibly deforming in response to pressure due to fastening of a connector lid; upper and lower covers having wire inserting grooves for wrapping the flexible and conductive connection assistance body and present to face the wire insertion grooves to each other; and a fastening part for fastening the upper and lower covers to press them against each other.
