PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brassiere ensuring breast cups to be held at positions of the breast of a wearer even when having no shoulder strings. SOLUTION: The brassiere comprises right and left cup parts 10, 10, right and left panel parts 20, 20 attached to the body ranging from the side to the back part in a wrapping fashion, and catching parts 30, 30 attached to the end part of each of the panel parts 20, 20 and locked to each other. The panel part 20 has a double structure where a first stretchable panel part 21 on the back side, and a second less-stretchable panel part 22 on the front side. The first panel part 21 and the second panel part 22 are sewn up to each other only at a rib side part 11 being the side end part of the cup part 10 and a locking part side end part 31, and the remaining parts are designed so that the wearer freely takes stretching action.
