A light guide for improving the visibility is provided to clearly show a stripe pattern regardless of the twisted assembly angle of the light guide. A notch(21) is formed at one side of the exterior of a light guide(20). A cleaved surface is formed on a surface opposite to the surface including the notch. The notch is arranged in the longitudinal direction of the light guide and is comprised of a linear main notch(21a) having depth of 0.2mm and length of 2.4mm, and a linear sub notch(21b) formed at both ends of the main notch. The sub notch makes an obtuse angle with the main notch. The depth and length of the sub notch exist within the depth and length of the main notch. The light of an LED progresses along the light guide and is reflected on the notch. The reflected light is radiated to the outside through the cleaved surface.
