<p>Disclosed is an escape ladder deployment system wherein the deployment system is in electronic communication with an emergency detection device, central alarm system and/or additional escape ladders. The escape ladder unit includes a deployable ladder housed in a box recessed within a wall just below a window either inside or outside of a building structure. The emergency ladder unit acts in cooperation with the detection device and/or alarm system in the sounding of an alarm in event of an emergency situation.</p> |
