<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the fuel cost of a vehicle while keeping power characteristics of a vehicle without frequently performing the gear change of a transmission in a vehicle which travels by a power from an internal combustion engine and by a power output from a motor through a two-step shift transmission. <P>SOLUTION: When the transmission is put in the status of an Lo gear, and a vehicle speed V is not less than a predetermined vehicle speed V set as a vehicle speed which is larger than a lower limit vehicle speed and when a vehicle travels in such a status that the transmission is put in an Hi gear state, and a predetermined time continuously passes after the vehicle speed V reaches a predetermined vehicle speed Vset (S180 to S200); the vehicle speed change of the transmission is not operated by a gear change map, and the transmission is shifted from the state of an Lo gear to the state of an Hi gear. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
