<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device allowing efficient mounting and assembling work of members in a manufacturing process of the electric power steering device, that is, a mounting and assembling work of an electric motor, a control unit, a terminal board for mounting a bus bar terminal and a connector, to reduce manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: This electric power steering device is constituted by adjacently arranging the electric motor 12 for imparting steering assist force to a steering system and a control unit 15U equipped with a controller 15 for controlling an energizing state to the electric motor 12 according to steering torque of the steering system. In this case, a mounting surface of the electric motor 12 and the control unit 15U, a mounting surface of the terminal board used for electrically connecting to the electric motor 12 provided in the control unit 15U, and a mounting surface of the connector mounted in the control unit 15U are constituted to be flush. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
