<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable printing layout verification method that increases the efficiency of verifying character layout data and print data in variable printing. <P>SOLUTION: The variable printing edit verification method includes a layout data creation step of creating variable printing layout data including name information and position information for character frames, a layout verification data creation step of creating layout verification data from the name information and position information for the character frames in the variable printing layout data, a test printing step of generating a two-dimensional code image from the layout verification data and test-printing a layout page including it, a layout reference data creation step of creating layout reference data from the name information and position information for the character frames in design data, and a layout verification step of reading and decoding the two-dimensional code image on the printed matter produced by the test printing and collating it with the layout reference data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
