摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device whose moving picture characteristics are improved by duty driving. <P>SOLUTION: Each pixel circuit 10 includes a light emitting element EL, first, second, and third transistors T1, T2, and T3, and a capacitor Cs. A duty control circuit outputs a data signal which has a specified bias potential Vb in a light emission period and a fixed potential Vcc in a non-light-emission period to each control line LVb. The transistor T1 turns on in response to a scanning pulse supplied from a scanning line WS. A video signal supplied from a signal line SIG when the transistor T1 turns on is written to the capacitor Cs. The transistor T2 supplies a driving current Io when having the bias potential Vb at its gate and cuts off the current when having the fixed potential Vcc. The transistor T3 operates according to the video signal written to the capacitor Cs and a ramp signal Vcs applied to the capacitor Cs to supply the driving current Io supplied from the transistor T2 to the light emitting element EL, for emission of the same. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
