PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cam member used for a zoom lens barrel capable of satisfactorily securing the movable extent of each lens group without making a cam cylinder large in size, in the case it is necessary to form a plurality of cam grooves on the same circumferential surface of the same cam. SOLUTION: The cam member used for the zoom lens barrel has a first cam region for moving a first lens group 120 provided in the zoom lens barrel in the direction of an optical axis and a second cam region for moving a second lens group 130 other than the first lens group in the direction of the optical axis, the regions of the first cam region and the second cam region partially overlap each other, and the overlapped area is commonly used, and a group-to-group distance for zooming between the first lens group and the second lens group is formed of the first cam region and the second cam region.
