PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoreceptor which improves the problem, such as void generation, image blurring or reduction in image density that is liable to occur in a color image forming method, using an intermediate transfer member, whereby proper color images can be formed over a prolonged period of time, and to provide an image forming method, an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge. SOLUTION: In the organic photoreceptor, a photosensitive layer contains fine fluorocarbon resin particles and a charge transport material which is a compound, having a triarylamine group and having at least one or more carbon atoms, having a value of HOMO electron density distribution of≥0.009 obtained by a semi-empirical molecular orbital calculations by using an AM1 parameter on a carbocyclic ring which links up indirectly with the N atoms of the triarylamine group and exists farthest, wherein the dipole moment of the compound, obtained by the semiempirical molecular orbital calculation, is≤0.7 debye.
