PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator improved in convenience and energy saving property. SOLUTION: The refrigerator comprises a container within a storage part closed by a drawing door 6, the container being adapted to be drawn with the door 6. This refrigerator further comprises a first packing provided on the outer circumference of the door 6 and abutting on the opening front edge of the storage chamber to close the storage chamber, a mounting frame for attaching the container, which is fixed to the inner plate of the door 6, a groove part located closer to the inside from the first packing on the outside of the door 6 from the mounting frame and provided on the lower side and both side parts of the door 6, and a fin-like packing 17 inserted and engagingly locked into the groove. The fin-like packing 17 is provided substantially over the whole length of the lower side and both side parts of the inner plate to provide a fin part abutting on the lower surface and both side surface of the storage chamber.
