PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting method and a casting apparatus for carrying out casting by applying a desired kind of metal to a desired portion in a cast product. SOLUTION: The cast product is cast with the casting method including: a semi-molten process 200 for making billets 13, 14 composed of different metals respectively by using the casting apparatus 1 provided with a metallic mold 2 in the inside of which a cavity 11 is formed, a sleeve 3 communicating with the cavity 11 and a plunger tip 4 slidably brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the sleeve 3 in a liquid-tight manner; a storing process 300 for storing the semi-molten state of billets 13, 14 in the inner part of the sleeve 1 in a prescribed arrangement; and a supplying process 400 for supplying the semi-molten state billets 13, 14 into the cavity by pushing the plunger tip 4 into the sleeve 3.
