PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for attaching a stud which enables attaching a plastic stud for an athletic shoe without loose during the use. SOLUTION: This stud for athletic shoe is formed of a plastic resin and is provided with a disk-shaped flange portion and a threaded shaft portion which extends in the vertical direction relative to the flange portion and is formed with threads on the outer peripheral surface. The flange portion is formed with a plurality of spike projections and the threaded shaft portion is formed with a hole which penetrates through the threaded shaft portion and a slit at the opposite position of the hole in the diameter direction. A stud reception member which is inserted inside the athletic shoe has a stud reception member equipped with a cylindrical nut portion formed with threads and a projection projecting from the bottom and having a diameter smaller than the cylinder form formed at substantially the center of the bottom. The diameter of the hole of the threaded shaft portion is formed in a way that an opening on the side opposite to a free end is small and gradually increased towards the free end. When the stud is inserted into the stud reception member, the projection pushes and expands the threaded shaft portion radially outward along the outer periphery surface of the projection.
