The training device for archery has a shortened arrow (1) which is movably mounted in a guide (2) for limited movement in the normal direction of flight. The inner end of the arrow has a cord loop (3) to connect it to the bowstring. The loop passes through the middle of the diameter of the arrow. The end of the loop (4) receives the bowstring.
