<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of additionally increasing pieces of data stored in a remaining region excluding a frame buffer region of a memory section while displaying an image by an image display element. <P>SOLUTION: When the free space of a system memory section 5 falls below a predetermined amount, the capacity of a data memory region 22 for display is decreased by reducing the amount of the data of the image data stored in the data memory region 22 for display so as to reduce the number of the gradations of the image and therefore, the free space in the system memory section 5 can be increased by reducing the amount of the data of the image data while holding the size of the image displayed in the image display element 11 intact. The amount of the data of the image data can be decreased by the simple processing of changing the amount of the data of the image data so as to reduce the number of the gradations of the image and therefore, a memory data management section 13 can increase the free space of the system memory section 5 rapidly when the free space of the system memory section 5 falls below the predetermined amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
