<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater control device capable of discriminating whether there is abnormality in heater control. <P>SOLUTION: The heater control device comprises a power supply means for supplying power from an AC power supply to the whole device; a heater which generates heat at a prescribed temperature according to the power supply from the power supply means, a temperature detection means for detecting the temperature of the heater; a heater switching-on means which takes logical sum of an upper half-wave turning-on and off signal that turns on and off the upper half-wave of the AC power supply and a lower half-wave turning-on and off signal that turns on and off the lower half-wave and makes it a switching-on signal; and a control means which takes a logical product of the upper half-wave turning-on and off signal and the lower half-wave turning-on and off signal and detects it as an abnormality of heater control signal, when both of the upper half-wave signal and the lower half-wave signal are turned on, and turns off switching-on of the heater. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
