PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new ultraviolet-curable urethane-containing polymer having a (meth)acrylate terminal group; and to provide an optical film containing the UV-curable urethane-containing acrylate polymer, and a display comprising the film. SOLUTION: The UV-curable urethane-containing polymer is obtained by reacting a diisocyanate compound with a reaction product of an OH-containing unsaturated compound with an epoxy compound having a liquid crystal group, and preferably has formula (1) (wherein, R is independently H or CH<SB>3</SB>; X is independently a linking group having at least one LC side chain; and Y is a linking group).
