PIPE FITTING AND ITS PROTECTIVE CAP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a resin made pipe through an adhesive agent, and to prevent influence of the adhesive agent even when an amount of the adhesive agent more than a prescribed amount is applied when fastener-connecting the resin pipe and a metallic pipe with the usage of an elastic connecting metal fitting. SOLUTION: The pipe fitting 1 is the pipe fitting made of resin to be connected to a metallic pipe joint provided with a main body part for connecting the metallic pipe and a socket part which continues to the main body part and has a flange through the elastic connecting metal fitting. The pipe fitting is provided with: a main body part 2 connecting the pipe made of resin through the adhesive agent; and a spigot part 3 arranged continuously to the main body part 2 and having a flange 4.
