PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerator capable of safely and efficiently accelerating even an aircraft with high speed and heavy weight. SOLUTION: This accelerator is furnished with a supporting base to support the aircraft so as not to retreat, float and pitch it in the middle of acceleration, a guide way provided along a specified passage, a guiding means to guide the supporting base along the guide way and a driving means to drive the supporting base along the guide way.
