FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method involves testing in mixed modes. First, on a dynamically similar model of the spacecraft, amplitude-frequency characteristics of the spacecraft in attachment points of the spacecraft are determined. The given standardised vibration modes are then corrected using a formula such that, the generated mixed modes of vibration tests using a swept frequency method overlap test modes on linear loads in the resonance frequency range and greater or equal to them in the off-resonance frequency range. After that vibration tests are done on the spacecraft on the generated mixed modes using the swept frequency method. ^ EFFECT: more accurate testing and simplification of the testing procedure. ^ 2 dwg
