PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backbone hook hardly causing adhesion of alga to the attaching part thereof, low in water resistance and low in load on a fish, and capable of easily attached to and detached from a fishing line. SOLUTION: The backbone hook 1 is constituted of a hook part 1a and a stem part 1b, and, on the stem part 1b, one end of an attaching part 2 formed of string-shaped member extended in a state where plural meandering fibers are entangled, is fixed. The fiber of the attaching part 2 is formed of nylon, polypropylene, polyurethane, or the like. When the fishing line 3 is attached to the attaching part 2, a ring 3a is formed on the fishing line 3, the other end of the attaching part 2 is inserted to the ring 3a, and the ring 3a is squeezed to tighten substantially the middle part of the length of the attaching part 2 so as to attach the backbone fish to the fishing line.
