The method involves arranging electronic control devices (10, 20, 30, 40) in a common printed circuit board (1). A short-circuit load (3) is firmly connected with a connection (6) of the control devices for functional testing during the manufacturing of the control devices, where the short-circuit load simulates a load unit. The load unit is controlled by the control devices subsequently during the intended operation of the control devices. The short-circuit load is provided with a connection short-circuit conductor that connects the connections of the control devices. An independent claim is also included for a device for functional testing of electronic control devices.
