METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE THREE-DIMENSIONAL COORDINATES OF THE CENTER OF THE PROJECTION OF A CAMERA

The proposed method for determining the three-dimensional coordinates of the center of the projection of a camera at aerial photography or phototheodolite survey of the earth surface is distinctive by receiving signals of the Global Positioning System (GPS) by a receiver, measuring the output signals of the receiver at the instants that correspond to the beginning and end of the survey, and determining the three-dimensional coordinates of the center of the camera projection by the measurement results. The proposed method provides a possibility to increase accuracy in drawing up geographical maps by results of aerial photography or phototheodolite survey.
