The invention relates to cryogenics, to purification and separation of neon-helium mixture obtained on the air separation units. A method provides forcompression of initial mixture up to a pressure exceeding critical pressure for neon, deep cooling of mixture with use in the neon vaporizer of a surface with capillary-porous properties and subsequent separation of the cooled mixture at this pressure with obtaining of liquid fraction, from which then production neon is produced by known method, and stripping gases, which are additionally purified by adsorption of neon with obtaining of production helium, and adsorbed neon is added to the initial mixture at desorption. A device for implementation of the method is proposed.
