<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a deposit of a sludge simply by a method wherein a deposited sludge is wound up by reversely rotating a normally and reversely rotatable aerator arranged at a bent part of an oxidation ditch when the sludge is deposited on a tank bottom. SOLUTION: A normally and reversely rotatable vertical typed aerator 3 is arranged close to a partition wall at a bent part position of an oxidation ditch. The aerator 3 can be so constituted as to be normally and reversely rotatable with the same impeller as a general impeller. Then, when a sludge is deposited, the aerator is reversely rotated. A reverse current is generated in a circulation of mixed solution with the reverse rotation to wind up the deposited sludge. When the deposited sludge is solved by winding up the deposited sludge, the aerator 3 is again returned to normal rotation to execute aeration treatment. Solution of the deposited sludge can be simply executed thus.</p> |
