<p>The invention relates to an embossed film (10) for the simple production of tamper-proof car license plates and to a car license plate for which such an embossed film (10) is used. The embossed film (10) comprises a carrier film (12) and a transfer layer (14) that can be detached therefrom and fastened on a substrate (32) of the car license plate. Said transfer layer comprises - in order starting from the carrier film (12) - a transparent peel-off layer (16), an opaque decor layer (18), a transparent protective layer (20), an optically variable layer (22), a reflective layer (24), a color layer (28) and an adhesive layer (30). The decor layer (18) is provided with spaced-apart planar interruptions (36) where the transparent protective layer (20) adjoins the peel-off layer (16). The adhesive layer (30) is used to fasten the transfer layer (14) on the substrate (32) of the car license plate.</p> |
