A method for controlling the harmfulness of species of noctuids belonging to the genus Heliothis consists in that in each agrocenose the taxonomic identification of specific belonging of noctuids is carried out. Settling the egg parasite Trichogramma pintoi Voeg. of local populations only is carried out in three steps against each of the generations at the stage of imago which are preliminary fed with a mixture of an aqueous solution of yeast ribonucleic acid, modified by cyclophosphamide, in a concentration of 0.030-0.005%.
