<p>Motor-pump unit comprises an electric motor (1) having a rotor (1.1) and a stator (1.2) and a pump (2) for conveying a liquid, gas or other pumping medium. The motor and the pump are arranged in a housing which has a casing (4.1) with a lid (4.2) on the motor side and a lid (4.3) on the pump side. A bearing axle (3) is supported by the lid (4.2) and the rotor is positioned on the axle. Preferred Features: The rotor is positioned on the bearing axle using a sliding bearing (3.1). The lid on the motor side has an inlet for the pumping medium and the lid on the pump side has an outlet for the pumping medium.</p>
