<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly detect contact between targets in such an environment including another object hiding the target. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A vibration generating part 101 is mounted on an object A111, and a detecting part 105 is mounted on an object B112. The vibration generating part 101 sends a notice of generating vibration together with identification information and issues an instruction to start operation to a vibration making part 102 after a predetermined time period. The vibration making part 102 generates vibration waves for a predetermined time period by the instruction to start operation from a control part 103. An analysis part 107, upon receiving the notice from the vibration generating part 101, is ready to detect the vibration waves and activates a vibration detection part 108 to detect (measure) the vibration waves.
