<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow image arrangement and display style on a map to be edited according to a request of user. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A user instructs a server apparatus 110 of a map editing mode. The server apparatus 110 generates a screen for editing a map and transmits the screen to a client apparatus 100. The user selects a thumbnail image to be edited on a map editing mode screen, and performs edit processes (moving, deleting, changing in size, and rotating). The client transmits editing data 123 to the server. A means 116 for generating and processing a collective image performs the editing processes on a collective image 121 stored in an image DB 114, according to the editing data 123, and registers the edited collective image in the image DB 114 again.
