<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy a request to increase the scale of a mechanism due to multifunction while decreasing the size of a lens barrel body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A lens barrel includes: the lens barrel body 10; a mount 71 attached to the end of the lens barrel body 10 and having a portion to be connected with an imaging apparatus body 2 formed thereon; and a substrate 72 which is disposed on the attaching face 71a of the mount 71, and on which the lens barrel body 10 is mounted, and which has a control section for controlling the operation of the lens barrel body 10 formed thereon. In the mount 71, a locking member 85 for locking an operation member 73 for operating a mechanism in the lens barrel body 10 is protrudingly provided to the attaching face 71a.
