Converter unit comprises a base surface (7), a clamp holder (10), a summation current converter (2) arranged perpendicular to the base surface and a primary conductor guide with primary conductors each having an output subconductor (23-26) with connecting conductors (15-18) guided from the clamp holder to an upper passage. The summation current converter has a central region (4) with an upper opening (5) and a lower opening (6). An independent claim is also included for a device for measuring an electrical differential current comprising a converter unit and a multicomponent housing.
