PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform composition processing on a plurality of images without any increase in storage capacity nor computational complexity while obtaining an optimum gradation for each subject region.SOLUTION: When obtaining a composite image by composition processing on a plurality of images obtained through successive photography, a control part 101 employs, as preliminary images, a plurality of images photographed with predetermined exposure while an angle of view is changed before the composition processing, and an image processing part 106 extracts a plurality of subject regions from the plurality of preliminary images. The control part finds a luminance difference as a difference in luminance between subject regions of the plurality of preliminary images, and then finds the exposure for photography of images to be used for the composition processing by adjusting the exposure in the photography according to the luminance difference. Then the control part instructs photography of the plurality of images to be used for the composition processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
