BREAKING TYPE ACTIVE HOOD HINGE DEVICE

The present invention relates to a breaking type-active hood hinge device, comprising a hinge bracket, a hinge arm, a descending lever, a breaking bolt and a damping lever. The hinge bracket is fixed to a chassis where an engine room is positioned. The hinge arm is fixed to a hood. The descending lever is inked with one side of the hinge arm. The breaking bolt allows an end of the descending lever to be coupled with a part of the hinge bracket through a hinge and is broken to release the coupling through the hinge when a collision with a pedestrian occurs. The damping lever is linked between the hinge arm and the hinge bracket to reduce impact force of the hinge arm by elastic force of the impact damping part included in one side of the hinge bracket in a state where connection of the descending lever is released. Compared to a conventional active hood system and a passive system, the breaking type active hood hinge device can be mass produced and have the size and weight remarkably reduced.
