A method of modular formation of machine-and-tractor complex, at which the control module and active technological module are consecutively connected to form a power unit and operating unit, united into one whole, the control module is equipped with wheel propellers, and power unit is equipped with caterpillar propeller. In this case the value of bearing pressure of propellers on the soil is ensured under condition of residue-free ecological action. The elements of technological module are additionally equipped with a wheel passive running system, which is used for transportation of complex along the public roads, change of the work sites and in the places of cyclic variation in the directions of tillage. The pressure of the wheel propellers of technological module on the ground contact area is set to be equal to normative value for displacing the heavy transport equipment along the public roads.
