The invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy. A method for rolled metal production involves smelting of steel of the following chemistry (wt. %): C - 0.03-0.15, Mn - 0.8-1.8, Si - 0.1-0.6, Ti - 0.005-0.05, Cr - 0.01-0.03, Ni - 0.01-0.03, Ca - 0.0005-0.0015, N - 0.003-0.012, Cu - 0.01-0.3, Al - 0.01-0.07, S - 0.001-0.015, P - 0.005-0.03, Fe - the rest, uninterrupted pouring out of it into the slabs, cooling of the slab in the temperature interval of 900 - 100 DEGREE C with the rate of 5-25 DEGREE C/hour, their austenitizing, preliminary deformation with the wringing out degree for the passage which is not less than 8 - 20 %, which is finished in the temperature interval of 1050 - 960 DEGREE C, the final deformation with the totalwringing out degree of 50-80 % in the temperature interval of 660 - 950 DEGREE C, at that between the preliminary and final deformation colling of the rolled metal at the rate of 0.5-8.0 DEGREE C/s, colling of the obtained rolled metal to the temperature of 650 - 350 DEGREE C after the final deformation at the rate of 0,5-8,0 DEGREE C/s, final rolled metal cooling to the temperature of 200 - 10 DEGREE C at the rate of 1-20 DEGREE C/hour are carried out. The invention allows to obtain the rolled metal, which has high value of durability, plasticity and cold resistance after the treatment.
