PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release polyester film which is a release film required for a polarizing plate with an adhesive, is easily released at the time of release film peeling-off without decreasing its adhesion, and does not leave traces of peeling-off at the time of cutting.SOLUTION: A release polyester film has a release layer on at least one surface of a polyester film having a crystallinity of 35-45%, includes an epoxy group, an alkyl group, and an alkenyl group, each bonded to at least two silicon atoms through a carbon atom, in one molecule in the release layer, contains acetylene alcohol and a platinum-based catalyst, has a release layer thickness of 50-500 nm, and has a residual adhesion rate of a release layer surface of 90% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
