PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction tool in which a light illumination range can be easily adjusted and also intense glare a user feels can be reduced: and to provide a vacuum cleaner including the suction tool.SOLUTION: A suction tool 10 of a vacuum cleaner includes a case 20 having a suction port 27, a rotary brush 11 scraping up dusts, and a lighting unit 100 applying light to the periphery of the case 20. The lighting unit 100 includes: a light source 110 which outputs light; a light guiding plate 210 into which the light is incident; a reflection plate 220 which is disposed at the side of a reflection boundary surface 212 of the light guiding plate 210; and a transparent cover 230 which is arranged on the side of a transmission boundary surface 213 of the light guiding plate 210. The light output from the light source 110 travels inside the light guiding plate 210, is directly transmitted through the transmission boundary surface 213 or is reflected on the reflection boundary surface 212 and transmitted through the transmission boundary surface 213, and is applied to a surface to be cleaned which is located below the front of the case 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
