PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition for a slide guide surface having excellent low frictional property and extreme pressure property for achieving accurate processing on a machine tool.SOLUTION: A lubricant composition for a slide guide surface is characterized in that; one kind of base oil or mixture of base oils of groups I-IV in a base oil category of API are used as base oil, then 0.05-3 mass% of class 2 phosphite expressed by the formula 1 and 0.01-2 mass% of middle class or high class fatty acid expressed by the formula 2, are added thereto.SELECTED DRAWING: None
