The invention concerns rolling production and is intended for use at continuous hot rolling of strip, mainly in the first interstand space of continuous group. A device for adjustment of interstand tension of strip at hot rolling includes preliminary and subsequent rolling stands with mounted working rolls and cushions. The device also includes a unit of tension of strip with position detector of tightening device, a regulator of position of tightening device and a unit of logical control. In accordance with the invention, the device is equipped with two frequency compensators of whipping of rolls and an adder. Each of compensators is connected by the first input to the position detector, it is connected by the second input to the output of the unit of logical control. The compensator is connected by the third input to the speed transducer of the main drive of corresponding stand. In this case, the frequency compensator contains an input key, a linear filter, a differentiator, a generator of saw-tooth periodic signal. The compensator also contains sine and cosine converters, four multipliers, two integrators, two controlled individual limiters, geometric adder, maximum element and output adder. The invention ensures the increase of accuracy of adjustment of the insterstand tension of strip due to compensation for whipping of backup rolls.
