METHOD OF SHORT-TERM STORAGE OF TRICHOGRAMMA

A method of short-term storage of Trichogramma includes keeping the biomaterial in laboratory conditions. The Trichogramma is stored at the adult stage of the insect at air temperature of 9-11 DEGREE C and at relative air humidity of 75+- 5 %. The optimum humidity is maintained by means of coating a 5% honey solution onto blotting paper, and the Trichogramma is kept at diffuse lighting.
