The method for measuring the individual transversal parameters of the dental arch of maxilla comprises estimating mesiodistal dimensions of the first and second upper incisors with assessment of the transversal parameters of the dental arch between the proposed premolar and molar points with the aid of the following linear equations. for boys: P=(MD11+MD12+MD21+MD22)*100/71,43; M=(MD11+MD12+MD21+MD22)*100/57,07; for girls: P=(MD11+MD12+MD21+MD22)*100/72,21; M=(MD11+MD12+MD21+MD22)*100/58,43.
