A method for control of gas heating device includes control of temperature of medium being heated, presence of flame on burner, presence of draught and gas pressure as current parameters of operation of the device, comparison of values of current parameters to prescribed values of those parameters, and on the basis of results of comparison - generation of signals: for blocking operation of the device at reveal of out-of-limit values of current parameters, for ignition of appliance or change of gas supply. One controls number of identifications of out-of-limit values of current parameters in given time interval, with comparison to permitted number of such identifications in given time interval and operation of the device is unblocked either in automated mode, or in manual mode.
