<p>An apparatus 2 for enhancing proprioception in the foot of a subject comprising: a member having a surface for contacting the sole of the foot of the subject, and structures, e.g. cones, slabs, recesses or dimples, disposed on the surface of the member for applying increased pressure in the region corresponding to the saphenous zone 8, the medial plantar zone 9, and the sural dermatone 10 of the subjects foot whilst in use, thereby increasing the proprioception of the subject.</p> |
